Governorator makes it easier to define who is trusted, what they are trusted to do, and which resources that trust applies to.

Manage Authorities
An Authority represents the governing authority responsible for making statements about entities within its trust domain.
Governorator gives each authority its own workspace. From your dashboard you can:
- View the authorities you manage
- Search and navigate existing authorities
- Create a new authority
- Open an authority to manage its entities and authorization relationships
Your authorities appear as simple tiles, making it easy to move between different trust ecosystems or governance domains.
Manage Entities
Within each authority, Governorator provides a searchable directory of entities.
Search by entity_id and results update as you type, making large registries easier to navigate.
From an authority you can:
- Search existing entities
- View the actions associated with an entity
- Create a new entity
- Add an entity manually using its identifier
- Manage the resources associated with an entity
Future versions of Governorator will also support receiving requests from entities that want to be added to an authority.
Define Your Resources
Resources describe what an entity is being authorized to act upon.
Governorator provides a shared Resource Editor where administrators can define the resource types available throughout the registry. For example:

Define Your Actions
Actions describe what an entity is authorized to do with a resource.
Governorator provides a shared Action Editor for managing the action vocabulary used throughout the registry. Example actions might include:
Administrators can add new action types or remove existing ones, creating a consistent vocabulary shared across Governorator.

Governorator turns the TRQP authorization model into a navigable hierarchy.

Define what the entity is authorized to do.

Inspect or configure additional conditions associated with that authorization.
The result represents a simple governance statement:
Authority A authorizes Entity B to perform Action X on Resource Y.

Governorator is designed around the information model used by the Trust Over IP Trust Registry Query Protocol (TRQP) v2.0.
